His love of riding (and cars) has been with him ever since, getting his motorcycle endorsement at age 16. In college he wrote a paper on safe driving and was most impressed with the number of injuries and fatalities that were preventable. Steve has strived ever since to drive and ride safely and proficiently.
In 2015, he purchased his first Harley-Davidson Street Glide and has rode all over Colorado, Minnesota and Arizona. He has completed the MSF Basic Rider Course, the Experienced Rider Course, and the Total Control Intermediate Riding Clinic. Steve became a rider coach instructor in June 2020 and completed the MSF Quality Assurance Specialist Certification fulfilling a desire to teach others to enjoy motorcycling safely and proficiently and be a positive influence in others lives.
He enjoys organizing his biannual weeklong rides with friends and family in the Rocky Mountains sharing his love for riding with others. Steve is married with two grown daughters.
